Missing Woman from Pocola, Ruby Poole Missing Woman from Pocola, Ruby Poole

OKW was contacted this evening by very a concerned family member.  The family is asking for your help to locate their loved one.

Ms. Ruby Poole is missing and has not been seen since late Wednesday night.

74 year old Ruby Poole is said to be 5ft 7inches and approximately 110 pounds.  

Ruby suffers from Alzheimer's and may be lost or injured.  Family had hoped that they would be able to locate Ruby today but there is still no signs of her.  

She was last seen near North Gray Street and Choctaw Road in Pocola, Oklahoma.

According to family, Ruby was wearing jeans and a purple sweater, and a black and gray coat with an off white collar.

Poole does wear glasses and may be wearing them.  She may also be carrying a brown purse.

I am the Owner/ Executive Director Oklahoma Welcome.  I am partners with my husband Lundy Kiger and togehter we form the Kiger Group.

I was born and raised in Mena, Arkansas.  I am very much a multi tasker.  I am constantly thinking of what I can do next.  I would say that my favorite thing in life is being a wife, mom, and aunt.

When I was younger, I spent my days as a Paramedic.  I still love and respect the profession and try to stay involved in other areas of emergency management such as volunteer work or public information if needed.  

My next challenge in life took me to work at LeFlore Counties only daily newspaper as the Advertising Director then Publisher for more than a decade.  After leaving print media, I decided that Southeast Oklahoma needed digital news that they could rely on, therefore OKW was born.

I am a member of the Rotary Club, Currently in the process of joining the Oklahoma Medical Reserve Corps, I served three years on the LeFlore County Development Coalition board and three years on the Chamber of Commerce board.  I attend church at Cross Community in Poteau.  

I have 3 beautiful daughters - Miranda, Hailey and Mya, a very smart and handsome step son- Joe Ryan, and a wonderful son in law- Bobby who is also very smart and handsome.  OH... and I have a Great Dane named Xena who is a crazy spoiled dog.

    Poor Ms. Poole, I hope someone locates her soon. Please call Pocola PD with any information you may have.
