Funeral Service for Francis Charlene Darneal, 89 of Panama, Oklahoma will be at 10:00am on Monday, April 29, 2024 at the Free Will Baptist Church in Panama, Oklahoma with Jim Cook and David Nolan officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Charlene was born on February 1, 1935 in Williams, Oklahoma to Linnie (Pendergrass) and Cecil "Ted" Butler and passed away on April 26, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Charlene was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ed Ray Darneal; and sisters Norma Faye Butler and Doris Ann Butler.
Charlene was an active member of the Panama Free Will Baptist Church where she served as the church treasurer for many years. She loved spending time with her family and church family. Charlene enjoyed cruising, sewing, cooking, and making flower arrangements for the church.
Survivors include her children, Beckie Seaton and husband Dewayne, Jo Hunt and husband John, Ricky Darneal and wife Diana, and Criss Urchison and husband Lawrence; 17 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Seaton, Harlan Hale, Fred Brown, Ryne Perdue, Ryan Johnson, Tyler Seaton, Gunner Loyd, Maverick Loyd, and Tatum Lomon.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Marty Butler, Jaxon Perdue, Luke Brown, and Waylon Hale.
